Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Global Vectors website, your account, and the beta multiplayer client and launcher offered through the site. By using those services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Read the Privacy Policy and follow the Community & Game Rules. Reading the privacy notice is not consent to unrelated processing.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
3. Accounts
- You choose a username and provide an email address and password when you register. Usernames must be at least 6 letters or numbers, as the registration page states.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account.
- Do not share your account with anyone else.
- You may change your username later. Your account ID does not change.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community & Game Rules. Those rules are part of these terms.
5. Beta and availability
- The service is in beta. Features may change or be removed.
- We do not guarantee that the site or the multiplayer service will be available at any time. Downtime may happen.
- No service level agreement (SLA) or uptime commitment is offered. Support requests are handled via Email support or Discord.
6. Supported game
- The service supports Euro Truck Simulator 2 only.
- The currently supported game version is 1.61.1.9, as stated in the published client version file.
- Other games, and any features described as planned or in development, are not included in these terms and are not available through this service.
7. Updates
The launcher may download updated client files from this site. Players must keep their client updated; outdated clients are not supported.
8. Installer access
- Downloading GlobalVectorsSetup.exe requires an approved account and a valid download ticket.
- Approval is not guaranteed and can be revoked at any time, for example if you breach these terms.
- The installer is the only user-facing download. The launcher uses separate update files and version metadata; these endpoints remain public so existing installations can update. This does not give an unapproved account installer access.
9. User content and intellectual property
Global Vectors materials created by the operator remain the operator's intellectual property. Third-party software, assets and trademarks remain subject to their respective owners' rights and licences. You retain any rights you have in content you submit; these terms do not claim ownership of it. Euro Truck Simulator 2 and related game content belong to SCS Software and are not licensed by this project.
10. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
12. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or end your account if you breach these terms or the Community & Game Rules.
- We may revoke your installer approval.
- You may stop using the service at any time. You can request account deletion from your profile page, or through Email support or Discord.
- You may appeal a suspension or revocation by contacting Email support or Discord.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be announced through our official Discord server.
14. Governing law
Governing law: laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms affects users’ mandatory consumer rights, including any rights to bring proceedings in their local jurisdiction.
15. Contact
Contact us through Email support or Discord for support, privacy requests, account deletion requests, and enforcement appeals.
